FAQ
Can my child obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan?
Children are eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Simply talk to your GP, who can assist you in setting up a MHTP. This plan provides your child with a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions each calendar year.
Do you offer psychometric assessments for children?
Yes, we offer the ADHD Child Assessment, Learning Assessment, Intelligence Assessment and Academic Assessment to children and adolescents.
Do you offer phone or online consultations for child & adolescent therapy?
We recommend face-to-face consultations for children and adolescents as they offer better engagement, allow for the observation of non-verbal cues, and provide a safer, more focused environment for self-expression and interactive therapeutic techniques. However, phone or online consultations can be arranged if neccessary.
Which counsellor or psychologist offers child & adolescent therapy?
