Healing is not a solitary journey; we sincerely encourage you to join our “Living Through Sunshine” therapy group.
We use an integrative and evidence-based approach to therapy, providing practical and specific steps to help participants gradually overcome the various challenges posed by anxiety. We also hope that through sharing and experiences among group members, you will feel less isolated and more motivated to engage in treatment and make positive changes.

Weekly Topics:
- Enhancing understanding of anxiety formation and its impact on various aspects of life through self-awareness
- Addressing physical symptoms of anxiety (e.g., tightness, insomnia, etc.)
- Breaking through persistent anxious thoughts and improving emotional control
- Gradually overcoming destructive habits caused by anxiety through positive actions
- Strengthening psychological resilience to prevent relapse
Therapist: Mrs Cherrie Liu (Registered Psychologist)
Format: English, Small Group (8 people or less)
Target: People who want to proactively manage anxiety symptoms issues (e.g., Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Specific Phobias, etc.)
Time: Starting October 16, 2024; Every Wednesday from 2:30pm – 4:30pm (5 sessions) #
Venue: First Light Care – Shop 3, 99-101 Anzac Ave, West Ryde, NSW 2114
Fee:
– With a doctor’s referral letter and a Mental Health Treatment Plan, full Medicare reimbursement (bulk-billing) is provided, meaning no gap (free) for you.
– Otherwise, the cost is $45.65 per session (two hours).
– 100% of the income is used to support the ministry of First Light Care
# This Therapy Group is also available in Cantonese (every Wednesday 9:30am–11:30am) and Mandarin (every Wednesday 12:00pm–2:00pm).
